pSH Naming campaign
In an effort to increase clarity and to ease confusion for visitors to the PSH Campus, we are initiating a PSH Naming Campaign
While “People’s Solidarity Hub” as a name isn’t going anywhere, we will be using this campaign to give the different parts of the PSH campus “subnames” that will make it easier to distinguish the different locations on a map and while visiting campus. The parts of campus that are getting named include the teal building, the white building, the new Lending Library location, and the PSH Pavilion.
Our goal is to unite the buildings under a shared theme while still giving them a unique and clarifying identity. To do this, we are inviting our PSH community to help name the buildings.
Happening in 4 phases, PSH community members will be invited to nominate potential names, vote on a final category, and select names that will be affixed to all four locations.

Phase III: Final Name Vote
With “Indigenous Plants and Medicinal Herbs in Resistance” named as the winner, we are entering the final phase of the naming campaign.
Starting Friday, October 24th we invite you to enter Phase III of the Naming Campaign by casting your vote for your four favorite names. We will be using a ranked voting system for this phase. That means your first choice will receive 4 points, your second choice will receive 3 points, your third choice will receive 2 points, and your last choice will receive 1 point in the final tally.
Voting will start October 24th and close Monday, November 10th. You can cast your vote online by clicking the button below OR you can vote in-person anytime you’re attending an event on the PSH campus. This includes the big Fall Open House on Sunday, October 26th from 11 am to 2 pm! Keep an eye out for the voting stations around campus.
After the final vote closes, members of the PSH team will assign the top 4 names to each of the four PSH spaces on campus: the teal building, the white building, the Lending Library office, and the incoming pavilion.
Open House was a success!
We had our Fall Open House on Sunday, October 26th from 11 am to 2 pm. There was food, music, a virtual tabling fair to learn about local orgs, workshops, and opportunities to network with members of the PSH community. People were also able to vote on their four top name choices for the buildings!
